Nancy Albanese, MA, Developmental Science; MBA

Nancy Albanese, teaches parenting skills under the name of C.A.R.E.ful Parenting. She trained for this work at The New Learning Centre in 2001. As a part of her training she worked for 3 terms with the children in The Time Out Programme who had been excluded from mainstream schools. Since then she has been facilitating Parenting Skills classes, giving school talks and coaching parents individually.

She has helped hundreds of parents work more effectively with their children. Recently she has given talks at Godolphin & Latymer School, Westminster Under School, Thomases Battersea, The Knightsbridge School and Ladbroke Square Montessori.

Nancy has an M.A. in developmental science from Birkbeck, University of London. Her research concentration concerned normal and abnormal child development and how aspects of parenting interact with child development. Prior to that Nancy received a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. In her prior career she worked for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. She lives in London with her husband and three children aged, 22, 20 and 17.
